Teriyaki Drumsticks

There’s something about drumsticks – they’re kid friendly and just fun to eat. Combined with a surprisingly easy homemade teriyaki sauce, the kids can help prep this recipe by combining the ingredients and pouring it all together. This meal is quick and easy to prepare any night of the week!

 

Ingredients:

Drumsticks

8 drumsticks
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
3 Tablespoons sugar

 

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a 9×13 pan with non-stick foil and lay the drumsticks down.

In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, mirin and sugar. Pour over the chicken.

 

 

Bake for 35-40 minutes until tender.

 

The flavor of the teriyaki really comes through in the baking and the kids love to eat these for dinner!
